Well it has been a kind of dreary weekend here in St Paul, MN this weekend so instead of going outside and doing things I decided to stay inside and work on things that are not in front of my computer. That means that I have a couple updates to throw at you this weekend, but not too many. I’m try to get a week or so ahead in content, but it’s a little hard when this is a hobby and not my job 🙂 That being said, I’m having fun posting daily articles. I just hope that they don’t feel like they are forcefully published, meaning that they have some kind of comment to them and not just filler pieces.
This week I hope to be able to give updates on Stream as well as the progress of Drop Spin. I have an article about AI that I wanted to throw out there and of course the podcast will be on Thursday, schedule is below:
- Tuesday:Stream Update
- Wednesday:Facebook AI article
- Thursday: RPG
- Friday: Drop Spin Update
I will also be try to do 1 – 2 news type articles per day as well. These will start to be a little ad hoc, or as they come. If there is a news segment I want to talk about I’ll put something up otherwise there will be no articles for the day. Its something I’ve always wanted to do, and the articles I have posted in the past about news have done really well for me. I also want the writing experience. I’m starting to do a lot of that recently with this and other projects, and I feel that I need some practice. So a good way to do that is to keep writing. I don’t want to get too “games media”-y though so if I feel that happening I will back off. This site is mainly what I can offer the reader, not what I can tell the reader to go look at. I want to entertain you, not something else.
So if you’re still with me just know that you can always find content here. Hopefully meaningful content, but I’ll never know unless you let me know. So comment below, on Facebook, send me one of those tweets I keep hearing about, or send me an email (email@example.com). I’d love to hear it good or bad. But mostly good I am a Millennial after all, but one at the beginning so I’m not a crazy Millennial 🙂
If you are into Ninja Turtles or anything that has to do with them, go check out the Turtle Flakes Podcast as well as Rob’s Blog. These guys do great work, are family friendly, and keep you entertained the entire time. I really love the Radical Relics segment they do. This is where they uncover a toy or something from the 90’s when TMNT was everywhere and basically tell the history about it, how much it costs now vs then, and just have a good time reminiscing about that time.

If TMNT isn’t your thing, and maybe you should give it a try ;), then try to head over to http://confessionsofagameaholic.com/ This site is dedicated to board games, retro video games, and all around geeky things. He’s also just starting up and is only a couple weeks old so if there is a hiccup in the site just try back later. He is also going to GenCon next week (I think that’s when it is) so if you can’t go and want to see the show from an attendee perspective check it out there. He has all the links to social on the site as well.
And lastly it’s that time again where we should start to think about our Halloween costume, it’s just around the corner. If you are thinking of doing something original this year and not be the same thing as every other person then head over to Haine Made! She is an independent artist who loves to do prosthetics and Halloween makeup. That not really your thing? You can commission her for an original art piece. I have many paintings from her and can’t wait for my next one. She also does the art for my site! https://www.facebook.com/HaineMade-155472674800872/
