Hey Everyone! I missed last week, but it was because I didn’t have something I wanted to show and I don’t want to get in the habit of showing something off just to do so. So I just got done with some Animations which took a lot longer than I wanted to but that seems to be the way this stuff goes. I went from using Unity’s built in animation system to using a Unity asset from the store called UI Tween. It was easy to use and the results look better than I could have done.
I also just want to reiterate, this game is not supposed to be the best thing in the world. It is a hobby project I am doing to try and get the feel for the entire life cycle of a game. I do think this game has value, but it isn’t supposed to be the next big thing. With that being said I really have fun with it, so I hope you do too.
If you are new here, please check out my last articles here and here. These just detail what kind of game this is and just gets everyone up to speed on the game and it’s mechanics. If you have any feedback about the game please let me know. Obviously I still want to put in sound, but I am also looking into power ups to help spice the game up a bit.
Anyway. If you have any questions comment below, @funpsycho on Twitter, and @funpsychos on Facebook, I guess even @funpsycho on Instagram if you want :).
If you don’t have an android phone the sample game is below as well. If you do have one that is running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later you can install by clicking this link!
You must have the option to install from outside sources enabled on your phone. Here is a link on how to do that.
