Turns out this game is pretty boring if you are just doing an analysis on it. I started to watch what I played and to me it wasn’t very entertaining. So I will skip this game, I might come back to it later, but I don’t think there will ever be a need to. This game is definitely made for streaming/Let’s Play videos. It has minimal investment for a viewer because there is no story, and it is a great pick up and play game because you just need to start a level and pick some gadgets. That being said it’s not a horrible game, just nothing really to analyze. So on to the next!
So there is always a part of me that likes in depth games that have multiple layers of stats and many different management screens, something you can really get lost in. Then there is a part of me that just enjoys going through a level and taking out everyone that isn’t me.
That’s what Sword with Sauce looks like to me. A simple to play, but difficult to master, hack and slash. From all the videos I watch (not Let’s Play videos) I see that it is a fast paced ninja simulator. That calls to me, I need to try this out.
Select your weapon, your gadgets and then your play style as you enter ready to take down all the enemies patrolling the level. You can either go in guns blazing, with a mad desire to re-colour the walls red or take a more delicate approach as you sneak your way around the level avoiding detection. http://store.steampowered.com/app/581630/Sword_With_Sauce_Alpha/
I mean just look at it!!
I really think this game was made for me the more and more I see videos and images around it. I love to just go in guns blazing, but I also love to sneak around and be the undetected murder ghost.
So I will likely try both play styles when we play as well as normal things that I try to critique on. The best part about this game is that it was $2.99, not on sale full price. This means that for the price of a burger at whatever fast food place, you can get a (hopefully) fun and well put together stress relief game.
Video to come shortly!
